The Garden
“They entered the garden and were quickly
met by the three witches. “You know what they are,” said Logan to Christopher.
Caleb was about to speak to Diana, but she just walked past him like he wasn’t
there. She stopped in front of Wah’li’si. She spoke to her in two voices at the
same time, saying two different things. One was “Who are you?” and the other,
“What are you doing here?” Then she quickly turned to Caleb and said, while
pointing at him with her finger, “I curse you with an everlasting curse! Death
you will taste! Death you will wear! So mote it be!” Lilith and Rhiannon
repeated, “So mote it be!” Smoke rose up from the ground and circled them. When
it had cleared, Diana and the other witches were gone. “Cowards!” said
Christopher. “Let’s go!” said Caleb.”
The above is taken from the story, “The
Garden” from “The Caleb Chronicles”.
The idea for this scene came from, when
my brother Jeff and I (about a hundred years ago) went to Eureka Springs
Arkansas to look around. While walking downtown we came across an occult store.
Well, at the time I was giving talks to youth groups about the occult and
secular rock-n-roll. We went in. We were in the store for about a minute
looking at the pentacles, the tarot cards, the spell books, when a lady came
from behind a shelf. She looked at us like we weren’t supposed to be there.
Then, this is the weird part. When she spoke to us, I heard one thing and my
brother heard something else. I heard, “Who are you!?” My brother heard, “What
are you doing here!?” Without giving us a chance to answer, she turned around
and went into the back and never came back out. We were in the store for about
five minutes, then we left.
I believe the spirit (or spirits) within
her knew the Spirit within us and wanted us out. We were invading its “turf”.
Remember demons tremble at the name of
Jesus. And they know the Holy Spirit when they see Him.
Selah, I.H.G.
