The Fire
“Caleb replied in anger, “We must stop
Servant and his witches! Servant must die!”
Just as he finished that sentence, a fire
came down from heaven in the form of a dove and hovered right in front of
Caleb’s face. Then, from within the fiery dove came the voice of the
Timeless-One said, “Caleb . . . High Priest. Be angry, but do not sin.”
Caleb and Eli’Zur were paralyzed. They
could not shade their eyes, and they could not fall to their knees. The
Timeless-One continued speaking. “Servant shall not die. Take the fire to him.
Caleb, take Servant the fire.”
Then the dove of fire slammed into
Caleb’s chest. For a moment, he looked like a pillar of fire, yet his flesh did
not burn. When the fire faded from Caleb’s body, he stood motionless with tears
running down his face. Eli’Zur fell to his knees in worship to the
Timeless-One. Caleb’s eyes became like flames of fire, and his heart glowed in
his chest. His spirit had been renewed. The Timeless-One had put in Caleb a new
heart, a heart of fire, full of desire to do the will of the Timeless-One.”
The above is taken from the story, “The
Fire” from “The Caleb Chronicles”
The Bible speaks of the Holy Spirit as;
John 1:32 And John
bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a
dove, and He remained upon Him (Jesus).
Act 2:3, 4 Then there
appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one
sat upon each of them.
And they
were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as
the Spirit gave them utterance.
Mat 3:11 "I
indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is
mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you
with the Holy Spirit and fire.
So,
that’s where the Dove of Fire came from, symbolic of the Holy Spirit. Let us
allow the Holy Spirit to set us on fire, to do His will.
Let’s
share the Fire of the Timeless-One with those around us. Let’s bring a
Hurricane of Fire to America and the world and watch Jesus baptize with the
Holy Spirit and the Fire.
Hurricane
of Fire, that sounds like a cool title for a song.
Selah,
I.H.G.
