Of
Angels:
Back
in the city, Therion called a special meeting of the magicians’
counsel. The counsel consisted of six men. They met in the temple
around a circle that was drawn on the floor. A blue glow came from
the circle and surrounded the magicians. Therion spoke, “We must
get rid of this man tonight! He is very dangerous. He has strong
magic. Let us cast.” At that, they began casting spells. They
called on the Goat of the Spirit to kill Caleb.
As
Therion and the others did their evocations, demons emerged out of
the floor from within the circle and flew out of the temple and out
of the city. They were heading straight for Caleb. When the demons
reached Caleb’s camp, they found Michael and about one hundred
other angels standing around it. The demons stopped just outside the
camp. Michael saw them and spoke in a sarcastic and demeaning tone,
“Now, now little fellows, you’re not thinking of doing anything
silly are you? No! I didn’t think so. Now, why don’t you little
guys go on back from where you came, or we’ll send you there
ourselves, okay?”
The
above is taken from, “The
Sound of Silence”
from The Caleb
Chronicles.
There
is a story in the Old Testament where a servant saw an army
surrounding the city. The servant was frightened and told Elisha
about it. Elisha probably was a little frustrated with the
servant, so he prayed.
2Ki
6:17 And
Elisha prayed and said, "LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that
he may see." And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and
he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of
fire round about Elisha.
The
Timeless-One, our God and Creator is always watching over us. The
Holy Spirit dwells in us to
give us power and strength and comfort.
Jesus is our Savior,
our Advocate
and Captain of the host of the Lord. God has dispatched His host, His
angels to protect
us from harm and to battle
the evil and
wicked powers
of darkness for us.
Psalm
91:11For
He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your
ways.
Mat
18:10"Take
heed that you despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto
you that in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of My
Father who is in Heaven.
I
believe each individual person has a specific angel sent out from the
Timeless-One to guard us,
to protect us
and to battle against unseen forces that would harm us, physically,
spiritually and emotionally.
There
are angels all around us, good and bad.
The
good will always,
always
triumph.
Selah,
