Hold
the Weak:
Wah’li’si
then prayed a prayer of protection over Jessica and Petra. All three
lifted their hands as she prayed:
“Mighty
God, ruler of the universe and beyond.
Strong
in battle, power with no end.
With
the hands that hold the lightning, hold the weak.
With
the arms that threw the stars in space, hold the weak.
With
the breast that holds the breath of life, hold the weak.
Selah.
Amen.”

1Th
5:14-17
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy.
Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are
weak. Be patient with everyone.
See
that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to
each other and to all
people.
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. (NLV)
“Take
tender care of the weak”. I love that translation. Don't judge the
weak, don't condemn the weak, don't criticize the weak, but love the
weak, comfort the weak, take tender care of the weak. Who
are the weak? We are all weak in one way or the other, that's why we
rely on the strength of Jesus. Now those who are lost, those who do
not know Jesus, those who have fallen from the faith, those are the
weakest of all. Let's take tender care of them. Let's take them the
strength of Jesus, Selah, I.H.G.
