Altar Called
Stillness:
After
Eli’Zur left, Caleb went to the altar called Stillness. In his
normal
posture, he heart-linked with the Timeless-One. Afterward,
he sang a song.
Oh,
Timeless-One
Creator
of all
Full
of power
I
hear the call.
You
have no beginning
You
have no end
You
are wisdom
On
You I depend.
The
above is taken from, “Black Dome” from my book, The Caleb
Chronicles.
Exo
14:13a
And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still,
and see the salvation of the LORD,
Job
37:14
"Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous
works of God.
Psalm
4:4
In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your
hearts (meditate)
and be silent (still).
Selah
Psalm
46:10
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the
nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Altar
in Hebrew is Mizbeach. It means, “Place of Slaughter”. Altar
of Stillness
is almost an oxymoron. Yes and no. On this altar we are going to
slaughter our worries, or concerns, our fears, our trials, our
temptations, our frustrations, our thoughts, our bitterness, and our
grudges. We are going to stand still, be silent and listen. We are
going wait upon the Lord and listen for His direction, His will, His
Voice.
Yes,
we need to give the Timeless-One praise and worship. We need to tell
Him we love Him and bring our needs before Him, but sometimes we need
to be silent and still, and listen.
Stand
still, and see the salvation of the LORD,
Stand
still and consider the wondrous works of God.
Search
your hearts (meditate)
and be silent (still).
Selah
Be
still, and know that I am God;
Go,
and find a place with no distractions and no outside noise. Now, be
still, search your heart (Heart-Link with the Timeless-One), be
silent and listen. The Timeless-One will speak to you, He will tell
you marvelous things.
Selah,
I.H.G.
