Lost:
When
they all arrived back at the temple yard, no one said a word because
in the middle of the yard was a figure made of white light. They all
stared at it. Then a voice came from it saying, “Come.” Caleb and
the others went and stood around the figure of light.
“Oh
Lord!” said Christopher as he fell to his knees. The others went to
their knees as well. A swirling wind started blowing, and they all
started worshiping: “Holy, holy, holy are You, God. Holy, holy,
holy.”
Then
a voice came from the figure of light once again saying, “I am the
Light of the World! Go and tell the lost!”
The
above is taken from, “Liquid
Christ”
from The
Caleb Chronicles.
“I
am the Light of the world! Go and tell the lost!” the Figure of
Light said. So, Who is the Light? Jesus said;
John
8:12
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I
am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in
darkness, but have the light of life."
Without
Jesus, the world would be in complete horrifying darkness. But, He's
here, He's real, He lives, and He dwells in each us that calls Him
Lord.
Who
are the lost? Jesus
said;
Mat
18:11-14
"For
the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
"What
do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes
astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to
seek the one that is straying?
"And
if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over
that sheep
than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.
"Even
so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of
these little ones should perish.
Every
person on this earth is a child of God, rather they know or not.
Rather they like it or not. But, not all are saved, redeemed, found.
Some
will perish, some will live. What
am I saying?
God
created man and woman in His own image.
Gen
1:27
So God created man in His own
image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created
them.
So,
the
man
and woman have children. And their children had
children, and so on. The entire population of the world are
descendants of Adam and Eve and
are God's children, but sadly many don't know it. They, are the lost
ones. They are the ones who have gone astray. They are the ones who
will parish unless we go find them and tell them about the Light of
the world.
Who
are the lost? They could be our brothers and sisters, our friends and
family, our co-workers and neighbors, the store attendant, the
atheist, the
waitress and yes even the one who cut us off on the road. The lost
needs
to be found.
