Holy,
Holy, Holy:
Caleb
took a few steps away from the others and turned to face them. He
lifted his hands, palms up, and said, “Stand still and listen.”
A white light came down from heaven and covered them all. Then they
could hear an angelic choir singing:
Holy,
holy, holy,
The
Lord is full of Glory.
Oh,
Holy Warrior
You
alone are holy.
The
above is taken from, “The Garden” from, The Caleb
Chronicles.
“Stand
still and listen.” That's a tough one, right? That's hard to do,
when I feel things have got to get done, now. I feel I'm always in a
hurry. I'm always looking at my watch, just ask my wife. Sometimes
or, most times maybe all the time we need to stand still and listen.
Listen for the Voice of the Lord. Listen for His leading, His
direction, His will. Then grab hold of His peace, His joy, His
delight.
Being
in a hurry, rushing around to get someplace or wondering how this or
that is going to get done is a form of worry. What does Yeshuah Jesus
say about worry?
Mat
6:25-34
"Therefore
I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what
you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not
life more than food and the body more than clothing?
"Look
at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather
into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more
value than they?
"Which
of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
"So
why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field,
how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
"and
yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these.
"Now
if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and
tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will
He
not much more clothe
you, O you of little faith?
"Therefore
do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?'
or 'What shall we wear?'
"For
after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father
knows that you need all these things.
"But
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you.
"Therefore
do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own
things. Sufficient for the day is
its own trouble.
So,
let's make up our minds to “Stand still and listen”. Then, just
maybe we can even hear the roar of the angelic choir from heaven
singing, “Holy, holy, holy.” Have you ever wondered why in the
book of Revelation we read, “Holy, holy, holy”. One holy, is for
the Holy Father, the second is for the Holy Son, and third is for the
Holy Spirit. Awesome, right?
Selah,
