The Littlest of gods

The littlest of gods;

In, “The Caleb Chronicles” Caleb and the people of High Rock refer to Satan as, “the littlest of gods”. There is only ONE TRUE LIVING GOD and He is the Creator of all and the Master of the Universe. He is the Father, He is the Son and He is the Holy Spirit. But, sad to say many, many people have other gods. Rather it is their job, money, physical fitness, their significant other, or Buddha, Allah, Satan, and the earth, Mother Nature.

Exo 20:3"You shall have no other gods before Me.

In other words don’t put anything or anyone before God. God, the Timeless-One comes first in our lives, right?

So why is Satan referred to as “the littlest of gods”? Because he is a created being that wants to be the Creator, he is hate that wants to rule over the Author of Love, and he can speak nothing but lies about Truth. His goal is to get God’s creation to worship him instead of God, and to remove the Timeless-One from His throne.

Isa 14:15Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

Isa 14:16"Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: 'Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms,

There is going to be a time when all will look at the littlest of gods and laugh and say, “This is what all the trouble was about? THIS is what caused all the problems in the world? HUH, he is nothing!”

Jesus referred to Satan as Beelzebub, meaning, the lord of the flies. Hmm, that’s pretty small, right?

I wrote something a few years ago, I thought I would share. It’s called, “Monster”.

“Night has fallen,

The monster has risen

Down my hall he walks,

In darkness I listen.

The monster opens the door,

And steps inside

Words he did possess,

Anger and deceit to attack my mind.

He got in my face,

He picked at my heart.

The monster resurrected memories

To rip my spirit apart.

With darkened words he spoke,

And evil thoughts he bled.

The past he did bring forth,

Lies are what he said.

With much anger and disgust,

I grabbed the monster and said, “Die!”

When I flicked on the light, much to my surprise,

The creature that shakes nations is nothing more than a little fly.

Wah'li'si

Wah'li'si

Wah'li'si is a character in, "The Caleb Chronicles" based on my wife, Claudine. Wah'li'si is Claudine's Cherokee name and means, “Sweet as a honeydew”. Wah'li'si is the spiritual leader to the children of High-Rock. She is a dancer, a singer and a warrior.
In the book I'm working on now, Wah'li'si uses more of her native language. It's a challenge to write using the Cherokee words, and it's fun as well.
Also, Caleb has two wolves. In the story I just finished Caleb calls them by their names. one is named Wah’ya (Cherokee for wolf), and the other is Neshoba (Choctaw for wolf). Just thought I would share that.

All with Love

Repent

Repent:

Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Repent:

Webster's: 1. To feel pain, sorrow or regret for something done or spoken; as, to repent that we have lost much time in idleness or sensual pleasure; to repent that we have injured or wounded the feelings of a friend. A person repents only of what he himself has done or said.

In the Bible it means; to turn, to change your mind. To change the way you think, to stop sinning.

Sin: To miss the mark.

We are aiming at doing the right thing, living the right way, and we miss it. And, that happens. Though we are not to miss the mark intentionally.

Repentance is asking Jesus to forgive you, me, us for the sins that we have done, for missing the mark. When we repent, we are saying, “I'm sorry Jesus for what I have done. Forgive me.” Then we turn from that sin, we cast it aside, and aim for the mark again. We cannot ask for forgiveness for someone else. In this area, each one must stand, kneel or prostrate before God and ask for forgiveness. You, me, us must mean it, for God knows the heart.

The MARK we aim for is Jesus Christ. We aim to be like, to think like, to love like Jesus. And, guess what, we miss the MARK, we mess up, we sin. Why? Because we are human beings with a sin nature. Oh, and there is nothing we can do about that. God will fix that at a later time.

We ARE going to sin. We ARE going to miss the MARK. And, we ARE going to have to repent, ask for forgiveness, and turn around and aim again. Thank God for grace!

Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

John 1:16, 17 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

Rom 6:14, 15 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!

Grace: Favor; good will; kindness;

God’s Riches at Christ’s expense. God’s unmerited favor. Is the time to get it right before God, even if you mess it up (sin).

So, even though we mess up and miss the MARK, we can still go to Jesus and say, “I'm sorry. Forgive me”. And Jesus will respond by saying, “It's Alright. All is forgotten.”

There's one thing God can't do, and that is remember our past sins after we say, “I'm sorry.”

Victory

Victory:

Caleb drew his Spirit sword. The others did the same. “The Lord is with us! His Light so shines in our eyes! His Fire burns in our hearts! Every evil thing will bleed the pain of death then will be no more! The Lord has given us victory this day! Let us go forth and take back our treasure!” yelled Caleb. They all gave a shout of victory and raised their Spirit swords high in the air.

To have His Fire burning in our hearts and His light shinning in our eyes, is to have His Holy Spirit dwelling within our very being. With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit every evil and wicked thing must flee. And, as they flee, they take with them their lies, their disease, and their bondage.

So, now on this day and every day the Timeless-One has given us the victory.

1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
